Being unable to "poop" normally and spending so much time thinking, worrying about. Good luck to you Taylor and Simpletricks. Now I am on a strict GF diet and trying to avoid any gluten exposure as my body heals and rids itself of lingering G antibodies left in my system. Finally, she did a TTG blood test (for gluten antibodies/celiac) which came back positive. Then my doc ran a stool test to rule out any weird gut/parasite infection or food poisoning. So I quit toxic job, changed diet, and tried probiotics, etc.-all to relax my body/mind/gut for a month or so before starting a new job search. Then I thought perhaps extreme work stress/burnout in long-standing toxic job (years of constant out-of-town trips, mean clients/bosses), insomnia, and/or bad diet (high carbs, sugar, junk food). At first, I chalked it up to a bad meal or gastroenteritis (stomach flu), started a bland diet for a week. My digestion went suddenly haywire last fall (bad D no matter what I ate-for 2 weeks). They are very easy, quick tests and give docs a direct look at your entire gut/digestive system so you don't lose sleep worrying and wondering about the cause and best treatment. if you have never had that done before and are age 40+. It is also really important to get a colonoscopy and endoscopy, esp. Other common possibilities are intense anxiety/stress, food allergies, IBS and/or SIBO (gut bacteria imbalance). CD is rare (1-3%) but many people go for years and years without realizing these indigestion symptoms are caused by CD or gluten sensitivity/intolerance. Readers of my newsletter are generally the first to hear about kits and my blog posts. This thread is pretty old, but I encourage ANYONE with chronic GI issues to make sure your doc runs a blood test for possible Celiac Disease which can cause these symptoms. If you are not signed up to my newsletter you can sign up here about half way down the page. They will be a little limited at first because stock of DMC threads is a little low at the moment for some colours but I will replenish them as I get more stock. When the ‘feeling witchy’ kits are ready I will send out a newsletter. I will gradually increase the number of prints I sell but don’t worry I am not abandoning embroidery I will still be making patterns and selling panels and occasional kits. The first print is from the original drawing that became the ‘quiet place to read’ embroidery pattern. The next batch of fairy with attitude kits will include this stuffing.įinally, something I’m a little nervous about! I have prints for sale! When I started LiliPopo it came from a love of drawing, I started stitching some of my drawings and it became an embroidery business but I still spend a lot of my time drawing and painting.

If you crochet then Hoooked also do quite a few recycled yarns too. It’s very soft and denser than the stuffing I was using but I prefer it as I find the end product weightier and of course I’m so happy to have recycled stuffing. I have been looking for a good replacement for the toy stuffing I use in some of my kits for such a long time and now, thanks to Loop London I have found it! The stuffing is made by hoooked and is beautiful. 10 / month You'll get everything that's included in Tiers 1, 2 and 3, as well as 10 discount from all purchases in my Etsy shop, where you'll find craft wood, specialist miniature tools and lots of fabulous 12th scale miniatures. It’s hard to see in the photo unfortunately.Īn exciting new discovery this week has been recycled cotton stuffing. The kit will contain some DMC etoile (sparkly while still easy to use) so the witchy hat and boots can sparkle a little. I’m hoping to have all the ingredients here by the end of next week but Covid is still having an impact on my suppliers so fingers crossed. I am in the midst of putting together some ‘feeling witchy’ kits at the moment. This has always been a family favourite but this year there won’t be any children home to celebrate it so it will be a more reflective festival.

At the moment it’s Wilkie Collins ‘Woman in White’, I can’t help myself I just love a bit of Victorian Gothic melodrama!Īutumn also means hallowe’en (or Samhain if you’re a little bit witchy). The weather is still mild, the sea is actually still warm but the nights are getting a little longer and sometimes a bit of bad weather at the weekend means cosying up, stitching and sketching while listening to an audio book.

The next day we were swimming in the rain!Īutumn is my favourite season, especially in Cornwall. We had our early swim down at Battery Rocks and were lucky enough to see a beautiful red sunrise. Monday really felt like the last of the summer days. Here in Cornwall the weather has definitely moved away from summer and into autumn.
